Kinnison Year End Review

Christmas 2009

Greetings from the Kinnison Klan!

Some of you are keeping in contact with us through Facebook or Twitter.  Here is a year in review.  So what have the Kinnison’s been up to?

NEWS OF THE FAMILY

The BIG news of the family was the birth of our first grand child – Josiah Kinnison on September 16 to Eric and Michelle.  Josiah is doing well and getting plenty of attention. Sharlyne enjoys babysitting once a week to let Michelle run errands.

Amy and James Weaver live only a few minutes away.  They still have their baby, Hurley, a miniature pincher. I guess he is a toddler now! Ha! They continue to grow Team Clean Windows and More as well as an on-line business.  Amy, James and Sharlyne took Harry Miller to Los Angeles for the American Idol auditions.  Harry didn’t get past the first round, but everyone had a great time enjoying LA.

Faith and BJ Breon currently live in Arlington, WA, north of Seattle.  The growth of their ecommerce business allowed them both to quit jobs.  BJ had foot reconstructive surgery on both feet.  A bothersome infection followed the first surgery.  Once the first foot healed, surgery was scheduled for the second on December 16.  Before the surgery, Faith and BJ enjoyed a trip to Orlando through their business.

Eric continues with partners James and Amy in Team Clean Windows and More.  Michelle quite her job once Josiah was born.  They moved into a condo during the summer, which is only about a fifteen minute drive from us! They enjoyed a summer trip to Montana for the Putz family gathering.

Tyler works for Abercrombe Kids. He also helps Team Clean when they need him. He took some classes at the local junior college.  Tyler recommitted his life to Christ last summer and was re-baptized.  He is now considering full-time ministry.

Mara is a senior in high school and completing her second year of college.  She was accepted into an early college program.  Mara was considering nursing, but switched to an art major.  She will pick up CNA training this fall, then continue her studies at Portland State University.  She plans on moving out this spring to try life on her own.

Sharlyne enjoys staying home and keeping the wheels turning for the family.  She was able to spend some time in Colorado visiting family.  Sharlyne has such a gift of hospitality.  Our home is constantly filled with family, friends, and even strangers. A high light for her was having her best friends, Vicki, Gerrie and Vicki’s son Kiefer come this summer!

Randy keeps busy growing The Journey with Christ and Genesis Mediation.  The Journey began several new House Churches and ministries.  He began a writing ministry called Thought for the Day.  He trained four new mediators and opened three new offices.  Randy is excited to launch the Christian Resolution Center in January.  This will give Christians a true alternative to selecting secular court and traditional litigation.  Randy enjoyed a visit from his dad and brother from Colorado before Thanksgiving.
